Spaniards love Granadella Beach
The local Granadella Beach is among the top-20 beaches of Spain.
The news portal 20minutos.es announced the results of a poll conducted by the editors among its readers. They were asked to answer the question “Which is the best beach in Spain?” Thousands country residents participated in this poll. And it turned out that among twenty most popular beaches of Spain there is one that is situated in the province of Alicante. It is Granadella Beach/ Playa de la Granadella (the city of Javea). The only local beach in the list took an honorable 14th place, as 8.760 active readers of online edition voted for it. Besides, this fact is even more pleasant, if we take into account the fire that horribly affected the territory quite close to the beach a year ago. Thanks to favorable weather conditions, climate, sea moisture and work provided by local services, the hills around Javea near Granadella Beach are becoming green again, writes elmundo.com.
According to the version of 20minutos.es, the best three beaches of Spain are the following: Playa de Los Muertos de Carboneras (Andalucia); Playa de Las Catedrales de Ribadeo (Galicia) and Playa de Bolonia de Tarifa (Andalusia).
