Miracles do happen in Hospital General of Alicante

Share:

The smallest child ever born in Hospital General in Alicante is 8 months old!

Araceli Gil was born in the hospital in May when her mother was just 23 weeks pregnant. The woman stood in queue at the bank when she began to bleed, and soon in the hospital she gave premature birth to a little girl. Doctors saved the lady and her baby whose weight was… 490 grams!? Few years ago the chances of such a baby´s survival would have been practically zero. Now, thanks to modern methods of intensive care and really first-class medical equipment, as well as to the love of the parents and nurses of the neuropathology department and the 24-hour care of the premature baby during the first four months of her life, God’s miracle has become a reality: a little “Thumbelina” Araceli Gil who has been living with her parents in Crevillent is an absolutely normal 8-month-old child who has no health and development complications, reports diarioinfromación.com.
