A photo exhibition by Raúl Moreno “Monólogo sobre Chernobyl” is open as a part of the V Festival Internacional de Fotografía Photoalicante in the Museum of Alicante University (MUA).

The photographer visited the place where the world tragedy took place 32 years ago, in the spring of 1986, in the USSR (the territory of the present state of Ukraine). Raul Moreno took pictures of abandoned playgrounds, villages without residents that looked neglected as well as of those few people who decided to continue living in Chernobyl and close by, despite all the terrible consequences for their health…

There are many invisible enemies of modern man. Radiation as well exhaust gases and food preservatives are among them. Discoveries and new technologies without proper control by a person may cause severe consequences for the existence of mankind.

The photo exhibition “Monólogo sobre Chernobyl” is open for visits until April 15, from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 08:00 pm, on Saturday from 10:00 to 02:00 pm.
