“The Week of the Human Brain”
This year, from the 12th till the 15th of March, 50 countries of the world are going to celebrate the 21st Human Brain Week / XIX Semana Mundial del Cerebro.
On the mentioned days the Week of Open Doors will be held at el Instituto de Neurociencias (IN) in Alicante. 125 volunteers of Human Brain Week will participate in the project being excursion guides for 3,000 students of local schools. IN will be also open for personal visits (the timetable: 10: 00-14:00 and 16:00-18:30). During next week IN hosts an exposition “Neuro-art: Research can be very entertaining”/ “NeuroArte: La investigación puede ser muy bella”, as well as activity for the youngest children “The Tale for the Microscope”/ “Un cuento al microscopio ” which will be «told» by on of their favorite characters, Puss in Boots, diarioinformacion.com informs.
El Instituto de Neurociencias (IN), a centre created by la Universidad Miguel Hernández University (UMH) and the State Agency for Scientific Research/ la Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), is the main responsible for organizing the Week of the Human Brain in Alicante.
