According to official data, by yesterday evening, the 13th of June, the Mayor’s Offices of 8 municipalities in Alicante province expressed their willingness to give  shelter and provide first aid to illegal immigrants from Libya that are currently on their way to Valencia port.

They are Alicante, Benidorm, Elche, Alcoy, Eldar, Orihuela, Sella and La Vila Joyosa, reports diarioinformaicon.com. Mayor´s offices, provincial authorities and Red Cross organization are working together to get everything ready for the reception of illegal immigrants.

Immigrants that were onboard of Aquarius boat are happy that they were rescued and moreover, that they won´t be sent back to Libya. Spain promised them a refugee status. It is foreseen that illegal immigrants will arrive at Valencia port on Saturday.
